Val Vista Village - Gentle Yoga for Seniors

No Pretzel Poses here! Gentle yoga helps maintain flexibility and strength. Lung capacity is improved with yoga breathing exercises, and arthritis pain may be reduced by gentle stretching. This class is a gentle, slower paced practice suitable for people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels. A consistent yoga practice will help improve your posture, balance, increase bone density, reduce stress and may assist with weight management. Yoga creates an atmosphere of safety and comfort, fostering self-acceptance and self-love. You don't have to be a senior, nor do you have to live at Val Vista Village to participate. These classes are open to the public and are for anyone looking for a slower paced yoga class.
